Our sunglasses are made from a material called bio-acetate. It is a plastic that is moldable. Due to shifting temperatures and pressure during shipping, the glasses can sometimes be a bit bent on delivery, but don't worry - it's easy to fix by yourself!
Step 1: Place the glasses upside down on a flat area to find out which of the temples needs to be corrected. The one not touching the area is the one you will focus on bending.
Step 2: Lift the glasses and carefully bend the uneven temple upwards.
Step 3: Place the sunglasses back against the flat area. If they still are uneven, you may repeat this procedure until the temples are at the same height.
The temples are too stiff to bend, what do I do? If you´re having trouble bending the temples, try to warm them a bit by applying heat. When heat is applied to glasses made of bio-acetate, they will loosen up a bit and become more flexible.
Did you accidentally bend the temples too much? No worries! As mentioned, bio-acetate is an adaptable material that makes it easy to bend the temples back if they got overcorrected.
If the problem still persists after following the guide or if there are any further questions, don´t hesitate to contact us at support@corlineyewear.com and we will happily help you!
